IT'S BABY DAY!!

This adoption stuff is SUCH a roller coaster!

We were up at the hospital both Friday and Saturday nights, because Katie (Danee's birth mother) has been having health issues... By Saturday night, and also Sunday (yesterday) things seemed like they were stabilizing, and the neo-natalogist was pushing hard for keeping Danee in the womb beyond this Friday's planned C-Section delivery.

About an hour ago, Cindy got a call from the hospital that "due to medical necessity" Danee will be born today at 2:00.

WHA-WHA-WHA-WHAAAAT???

Wow. So we're just a couple hours away from a very teeny preemie bouncing into our lives! As of last Friday's ultrasound, she weighed 3 pounds, 10 ounces. Hopefully she packed on as much weight over the rest of the weekend as I did, cuz she's gonna need it!

Please join us in praying for a safe delivery and transition to the "outside" world.

Cindy just got to the hospital, and has our camera, so we'll have pics here as soon as we're able to!

That is so tiny, but then my friend's twins were 1 lb each when they were born and they've been stable, but in the NICU for a month already. We were joking they doubled their birth weight--2 whole pounds!
