Problem and Solution

Now that she's a walker, Daneekins has a new favorite hobby:

Climbing up on things!



Climbing up and into her toybox isn't necessarily a problem, but far more often she perfers...



Call us horribly oppressive, but we're not into letting her push the lamp onto the floor... So we found a solution - something she can climb on all she wants, and even have fun in the process!!



End Result: Danee is a VERY happy girl with her new climbing gym, but still thinks the end table is the funnest place in the house. Oh well... Back to the drawing board!

When Mommy's Away...

What happens when Daddy takes Daneekins on a photo shoot in a park, wearing brand new pants, without Mommy there to intervene?



Daddy rushes home and gets those pants into the laundry before Mommy even knows they got dirty!!!

After a rough week of harsh words and regret it is good to know I am not alone.
Even the Great prophet Isaiah had trouble holding his tongue it seems.

Isaiah Chapter 6

In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

I am grateful for the scriptures that help keep me in check and after this week even more grateful that through the atonement I don't need to have my lips burned with coal to be forgiven.

Sweet 16 (And Kissed 500 Times Per Day)

Our tiny baby girl is now 16 months old!

That seems like a good excuse to put up some new pictures of her...

Get that baby an agent - she's gonna be our ticket out of this town!
