Cindy and I had a Southwest flight attendant who sang the last part of the safety announcements, but this is approximately a million times cooler!!
And no, I've never gotten anything like that on United, or any other airline!

Best line I heard on a plane (Alaska Air): "This is a brand new airplane, so please help keep it clean. If you mess it up, we'll have to paint it orange and sell it to another airline."
ReplyDeleteYou know what's funny Mike? When I titled my Lorelai and me post, at first I just assumed that everyone would know the song I was using. Then it dawned on me that most my readers are younger than me and may not have ever even heard the album Goodby Yellow Brick Road in it's entirity. I wasn't even sure if my own kids would and I know for a fact they have heard that album many times. I'm so pleased that you knew what my title was in reference to. I've always loved that song and I thought it made for a perfect title to that post. thanks for the comment letting me know that at least one reader was savvy to my Elton John reference.
